  3. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? Cover A good magazine must contain a front cover page and a contents page. The front cover of a magazine tries to hook its audience through glossy images on a cover, free gifts and etc. Also it must have a recognisable masthead at the top of the page. Colourful titles and texts are used to attract audience attention. It is the school magazine so I have included a school website on the cover.

  4. Contents page Contents page must have a title and clearly written texts. As well it should contain photos so people will be more interested in reading the magazine. My contents page includes same colours as cover page; blue and white. These colours are my school colours, so I decided to use them as my brand identity.

  5. How does your media product represent particular social groups? The audience of my magazine are mostly students, both genders, so the style of my front cover page and contents page are colourful and not original texts, a picture of a student and also the topics in magazine will be interesting for students particularly. Even the masthead looks glossy and kind of teenagers style.

  6. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? The school will distribute my magazine, because it contains topics about school, school life, students and etc. I think that my magazine will be better than the school one because I have asked students about which stories they would like to read about.

  7. Who would be the audience for your media product? My target audience are mostly teenagers, both gender, but as well it will interesting for parents as well, because they are some topics and photos in which parents will be interested as well.

  9. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? I have used Blogger to post all my work and show it to my classmates This website helped me to create polls and questioners for my blog On this website I have created the masthead for my magazine And the most useful programme was Photoshop. By using this programmes I made my cover page and contents page. I have learned how to use Photoshop and all its functions

  10. I have taken some photos for my cover and contents page I used scanner to upload my hand drawing drafts I did all my work on this computer I was printing every draft to see how it looks like and to check if I needed to make any changes
