  15. The gospel is good news because there is no message more powerful with more potential to change lives than the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ! We must guard it! We must persevere in it! We must proclaim it!

  16. For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time for my departure is close. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:6–7 CSB

  17. Here in chapter four Paul is writing his final “charge” to Timothy.   And in this charge we see a mandate, a warning, and an encouragement.
