It makes your lavatory look clean and healthy, so your family and guests feel more comfortable. Pour a cup of baking soda in the bowl. Let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub and flush. If you see any spots after this, try using a wet pumice stone. Pumice is abrasive enough to remove stains caused by mineral deposits but gentle enough not to damage surfaces. In the case of grime build-up, we like to use a light-duty electric pressure washer. It blasts hard-to-reach areas like the spots where the hinges meet the seat, and you don’t have to get too close! We recommend deep cleaning at least every six months to avoid potential health hazards. Deep clean more frequently if you have a big family or many visitors.
