Comprehensive Analysis of HIV-1 mRNA Transcript Variants and Regulatory Proteins
This study explores the diverse mRNA transcripts of the HIV-1 genome, identifying key variants including 5'LTR, 3'LTR, and multiple AUG-started readings associated with vital proteins such as Tat, Rev, Vif, Nef, and Env. Through detailed analysis, we assess the structure and function of these transcripts, their regulatory mechanisms, and their implications in viral replication and pathogenesis. Our findings enhance the understanding of HIV-1 biology and could inform therapeutic strategies targeting specific mRNA isoforms.
