  1. Serving others A place and people of Compassion

  2. F.I.R.S.T. • Faith in action A place and of grace • Intentional discipleship A place of growth • Relationship focused A place of authentic relationships • Serving others A place and people of compassion • Transformation

  3. “This is how we know what love is: Christ lay down his own life for us. We too then, ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters! Ifwe have possessions and see others in need, yet close our hearts against them, how can we we claim that we love God? Our love must not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.” (1 John 3:16-18) TEV

  4. Every member of the church is a minister

  5. Every member of the church is a minister minister just means servant to minister is to serve

  6. Every member of the church is a minister minister just means servant to minister is to serve

  7. Every member of the church is a minister God’s intention for you is that you serve others in His name – that’s ministry

  8. Every member of the church is a minister “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” (1 Cor.12:27)

  9. “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” (1 Cor.12:27) God wants you to make a difference in this world – in your world

  10. 12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptised by[a] one Spirit so as to form one body – whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free – and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 And so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

  11. 15 Now if the foot should say, ‘Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,’ it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, ‘Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,’ it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?

  12. 18 But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

  13. Nothing that you do or say is insignificant

  14. God doesn’t force us – it’s our choice

  15. God doesn’t force us – it’s our choice But here is the offer from Jesus, “According to your faith it will be done to you.”

  16. “According to your faith it will be done to you.” You get to decide how much God blesses your life!

  17. Let’s choose to be people of grace, growth, and authentic relationships, where everyone responds with compassion to serve the needs of others.
