Safety & EMC Standards & Block-Block Interface Definitions

This lab focuses on identifying and mitigating safety hazards and EMC concerns in electronic products. Learn how to determine applicable safety and EMC standards, develop mitigation plans, and update product requirements. Understand the risks of single point/device failures, burns, electric shock, fire/explosion, sharp edges/pinch points, and abusive/unknowing users. Guard against electrostatic discharges, magnetic/RF energy, interference with other electronic products, and poor AC power quality. Compliance with relevant standards is crucial for ensuring product safety and performance.
