  2. FRUIT TREES VARIETIES Greenhills Nursery Ltd has wonderful selection of Fruit Trees in stock. All trees are pot grown or root balled unless mentioned otherwise. The rootstocks for grafting are bare root.   3. APPLE TREES Apple trees prefer a cool, moist climate with full sun with fertile, well-drained, loamy soil, you must protect from strong winds. You can plant apple trees pot grown all year round. 

  4. APRICOT TREES Apricots are susceptible to various diseases whose relative importance is different in the major production regions as a consequence of their climatic differences. 

  5. BERRIES FRUITING There are about 150 species of evergreen and deciduous, ornamental and fruiting shrubs. The berries are mostly edible and are either white, scarlet, purple, green or black. They have long stems, with green leaves. They produce a mass of yellow, red or pink blossoms appearing in late winter or early spring. 

  6. CHERRY TREES There are many cherry trees varieties available . Some are shrubby species but most are trees.  Many species are deciduous and will bloom in the spring. The cherry trees  leaves are green with serrated edges.

  7. FIG TREES Fig trees thrive in medium climates, such as we enjoy in the U.K. with a medium number of sunny days, light winds and average rainfall; they grow well at elevations from sea level to 3,000 feet. There are some hardy cultivars that can be grown in the high desert and in the northwest, even in Canada.
