  3. this,these,that,those称为 指示代词, 用来指示或标示人或事物,其中, this和that为单数, these和those 为复数。另外, this和these用来指离自己较近的人或物, that和those 用来指离自己较远的人或物。 Language use 指示代词的用法 例如: This is my bike, and that is her bike. These are my books, and those are his books.

  4. 当指示代词所指的事物已确定时,后面 的指示代词指人时用he, she, they来代 替,指物时用it和they来代替。 如: ----Is this your book? --Yes, it is. ----Are these your uncles? --No, they aren’t.

  5. 1. These are Betty’s parents. 这两位是贝蒂的父母。 Betty’s 意为“贝蒂的”。这是一个名词所有格形式,表示人与事物的所有和所属关系,在句中作定语。 e.g. It’s Daming’s bike. They are Tom’s and Tony’s bags.

  8. 拓展 1、 一些表示日期、时间、距离、城市、国家名称的无生命名词,也可以通过加“‘s”构成所有格。例如: a month’s time一个月的时间; today’s newspaper今天的报纸; Beijing’s spring北京的春天; 2. 如果“‘s”后面跟的是表示“商店”、“教堂”或“某人的家”的名词,则这类名词通常被省略。例如: at the doctor’s在诊所/在医务室; to my uncle’s到我叔叔家 3、“双重所有格”是指既含有“...’s”结构,又含有“of短语”的结构,即“of + ...’s”结构。“双重所有格”可用来表示“整体中的一部分”,也可用来表示“感情色彩”。例如: an old friend of my father’s我父亲的一位老朋友(表示“我父亲众多朋友中的“一个”) 注意:“双重所有格”和只用“of短语”表示的所属关系在意义上是有区别的。试比较: a photo of my mother’s我母亲的一幅照片(照片是我母亲的,照片上的人却不一定是我母亲) a photo of my mother我母亲的照片(照片上的人就是我母亲)
