    14. And why does this matter? Again—you deal with these differences in different ways. Interest conflicts usually can be negotiated, mediated, or sometimes arbitrated. Intractable conflicts at least need to be mediated; often addressed through dialogue, problem solving, or other longer-lasting methods.
