  1. What to Expect from Your Visit to Bear Country USA? Are you going to Rapid City, South Dakota? Remember to take your kids to Bear Country USA, an 8-mile paradise! Towering pines and undulating meadows characterize the peaceful and gorgeous Black Hills s etting that spans 250 acres that makes up Bear Country USA. It is home to the world's largest collection of black bears kept privately. As you comfortably relax in your automobile, it provides you with a rare glimpse into the lives  of roughly 20 di?erent kinds of animals found in North America. It's easy to find because of its convenient location close to Rapid City, Keystone, Sheridan Lak e, and the Mt. Rushmore National Memorial. You can get to the park from Rapid City in around 8 miles. It is open from early April to the end of November. What to anticipate from your trip to Bear Country USA is as follows: Bear Country USA's fauna Numerous North American mammals that were born in captivity and are unable to live in the wild can be found in the park. They can live in expansive nature exhibits that mimic the wild surroundings found in parks. The following creatures can be found in the park: Black bears Grizzly bears Arctic and timberwolves Bighorn sheep Bison Reindeer Mountain lions Badgers Beavers Bu?alos

  2. Bobcats Canadian lynx Elk Coyotes Porcupines Raccoons Red fox River otters Skunks Rocky mountain goats The larger mammals are allowed to roam freely throughout the drive-through area, while the smaller mammals and those younger than a year stay within the Babyland area. Drive-ThroughParkArea You can drive around the park to witness huge creatures, especially black bears, wandering fr eely in their natural environment. You will drive up to the entrance booth when you get to the park, and you will then drive direc tly through the animal loop. You will see animals playing in the road, swinging from trees, and relaxing in big pools. The animals are more active in the colder early hours, so it's better to visit close to opening ti me. If you drive carefully through the loop, it will take you twenty to thirty minutes. The region with the black bears is the longest and most entertaining portion of the loop beca use you can see them everywhere. It might be tempting to roll down your window to get a closeup picture of the bears, but the park strictly prohibits any such moves. Babyland After the drive, you can park your car and enter the Babyland area. As suggested by the name, it is home to all the smaller, less-than-a-year old mammals and the smaller species. The best part about this enclosed area is the adorable baby bears! The yard is full of wrestling, frolicking, rolling, and climbing baby bears. You can observe the bears and other animals in their natural habitats while you stroll on foot. Even though you can take your pest through the wildlife loop, you can't bring them inside Babyland. Only service animals can enter this area. You can spend as much time as you want in this enclosed space. You can also visit the park gift shop to shop for a variety of the Black Hills souvenirs. Bear Country USA is inarguably an enjoyable place to explore with your loved ones. You must bring your kids to the park when you visit Rapid City, SD, or the surrounding areas!
