  3. The itinerary • April 11th (Saturday) to April 18th (Saturday) 2015 - Seattle Seattle Public Schools’ Spring Break vacation • April 11th: overnight flight to Paris-CDG

  4. April 12th Settling in and exploring by métro

  5. April 13th: Guided tour of Paris highlights, and a boat ride on the Seine.

  6. April 14th Visiting the Chateau de Vincennes, a culinary walking tour, and an evening visit to the Louvre.

  7. April 15th Exploring the catacombs and Père Lachaise cemetery

  8. April 16th Versailles in the morning, and an afternoon of options

  9. April 17th Walking the Luxembourg gardens, playing pétanque, and options in the afternoon (Le Musée d’Orsay, peut-être?) • A special dinner option this evening

  10. April 18th - return home

  11. Additional Costs • Lunches and snacks • Spending money • Tip for tour manager • Free time expenses (extra entrance/transportation fees)

  12. Important dates • Register by 7/1/14 to ensure $3455 • Otherwise, $3755 • The first six registrants will receive another $100 off • Full payment due by 12/1/14 • Payment details in registration booklet

  13. Some notes on... Passports • Students’ passports should be valid for 6 months from the return date • If your student doesn’t have one, start the process now • Leave a photocopy at home and bring several with you • If your student doesn’t have an American passport, check visa requirements

  14. Some notes on... Cash, Credit Cards, ATM Cards • Students should have 50 Euros before leaving • Banks must be notified before student leaves country (sometimes repeatedly!) • Currently at 1.37 euros to the dollar • ATMs tend to offer good exchange rates

  15. Some notes on... Electronics • Viber, WhatsApp, Skype - all ways to text and/or call when around wifi • Check with your cell phone company about international data plans • And a word about electronic usage...
