Status Update on Adak Island Information Repositories - March 2011

This update outlines the current conditions of the Adak Island Information Repository, as reported by Bob Reeves H.S. in March 2011. The repository faces several challenges, including limited support staff, inadequate expansion space, and unresolved cataloging of new materials. Users have access to on-site copy facilities, yet the library hours remain restrictive, and there are no withdrawals. Proposed improvements include updating repository lists, parsing documents for efficiency, and enhancing online resources through AdakUpdate.com. Community preferences are also highlighted for future developments.
