  2. 平時準備對策 • 跟著英語廣播教學朗讀 • 熟悉英美人士語調節奏 • 把握與英美人士交談機會 • 平時經常自問自答練習

  3. 應試準備對策 (1) • 句子複誦:不可增減字、語調應相同 • 正確單詞發音:單字發音正確 • 語調升降: • 升調: Yes/No 問句升調 • 降調: Wh-問句、直述句和含有or的問句為降調 • 附加問句: 以”預設”與否決定升降 • 字詞輕重音: • 虛詞 : 輕音弱讀(輕短低)母音變成輕元音; • 實詞: (重長高),溝通意義(n, adj, adv, 否定助動詞)

  4. 應試準備對策 (2) • 連音: • 子音連母音(Whatisit?—hwa-ti-zit) • want to—wanna got to—gotta • going to—gonna • would have—woulda could have—coulda • 子音連音 • [-s]+[j][ ] miss you/ kiss you • [z]+[j][ ] lose you/ please you • [-t]+[j][ ] want you/ meet you • [-d]+[j][ ] would you/ did you

  5. 應試準備對策(3) • 回答問題: 聽想答 • 聽: • 深呼吸、放輕鬆、平常心 (勿躁進) • 注意聽問句關鍵字(特別是疑問詞) • 想: • 有15秒內回答,因此先利用前面幾秒構思回答 • 回答核心1句延伸3句 • 以5W(Where, When, What, Who, Why)+1H (How)原則構思 • 依重要性(問題核心)排序在時間內發揮 • 用過去熟悉的說法來活潑表達。

  7. 口說單詞演練: 輕重音 (1) • 輕重音節 (Syllable) • 第一音節—leader, famous, history, energy • 第二音節—response, mistake, begin, event, excuse • 第三音節—resignation, opportunity, information, inspiration, conversation • [演練]: (聽標重音) • research, research, remember, wonder, computer, diamond, employee

  8. 口說單詞演練: 輕重音 (2) • 名詞與動詞重音 • 名詞第一音節重音居多: conflict, contrast, present, protest, record, suspect • 動詞第二音節重音居多: conflict, contrast, present, protest, record, suspect • 動詞片語當名詞第一音節重音居多: a lookout, a put-on, a setup, a takeoff • 動詞片語當動詞第二音節重音居多: to look out, to put on, to set up, to take off

  9. 口說單詞演練: 輕重音 (2) • 名詞與動詞重音 • [演練] • We are going to buy John a present. • We’ll present the present to him in front of the class. • Let’s make a record of that speech. • Let’s record that speech. • The police caught the suspect. • The police suspected the man of stealing.

  10. 口說單詞演練: 輕重音 (3) • 複合名詞重音 (Compound nouns) • 複合名詞 (N+N): 大多在第一音節 • fountain pen, movie star, fire engine, tennis court, police station, firefighter • adj.+N: 重音大多在N • rainy day, easy task, expensive watch, sick cat, shy girl, difficult lesson, lazy boy • [演練] • bus station, smart student, dining car, smoking car, interesting story, blackbird

  11. 口說單詞演練: 輕重音 (4) • 助動詞can • [k n]—重音: 否定句, 簡答 • Yes, I can. / No, she can’t. / Louis can’t speak English. / Can’t you say it again? • [k n]—輕音:肯定句, 疑問句 • Can John write English? / John can write English. • [演練] • I can go. / I can’t go. Can you speak English? / No, I can’t. • I can go with you tomorrow./ I can’t go with you tomorrow. • P.S. 其他助動詞do, did, will, would, have, has等只在簡答句讀重音.

  12. 口說單詞演練: 輕重音 (5) • 代名詞 • you, he, she, they, we, him, us, them等只在句首或強調時讀重音 • [演練] • She speaks beautiful English. • I don’t want your book; I want his book. • I met her yesterday. • Is she going to go? • Are you coming?

  13. 口說單詞演練: 輕重音 (6) • 介系詞 • to, for等弱讀 • [演練] • Mrs. Johnson loves to collect old furniture. • We’re waiting for Uncle Tom. • Those gifts were not for us.

  14. 口說句子演練: 輕重音 • 實詞重讀(N, V, Adj, Adv ) • 虛詞弱讀(Prep, Conj. Pron. Aux.) • 每句至少一字或一音節重讀,而且大多在句末. • [演練] • My father ate an orange this morning. • She loves to collect old furniture. • We metJane in the park. • I’m busy. • What’s the matter? He’s coming soon.
