Summary of Optimised Schedule System (OSS) • ESB Networks are implementing a new scheduling solution for meter works orders - using an application called ‘Click Schedule’ • Existing legacy application ‘AREAS’ is being replaced • The new scheduling solution (OSS) will: • optimise the scheduling of meter works orders and support the minimisation of travel • support the meeting of due date obligations i.e. SLA and Appointment commitments • support proactive jeopardy management and the dynamic management of the schedule as the day unfolds • e.g. manage urgent re-energisation requests, manage completion of meter works orders when outages occur and resources are redeployed urgently • Project on schedule for Go Live on 26th April 2011 4

Improvement to Appointments functionality • As Is Appointments functionality • Appointments are currently limited to particular route days with a maximum threshold of appointment slots per route • e.g. appointments in Tullamore town are on route days only (Tue, Thurs and Fri) with a maximum capacity of 2 slots per day • To Be Appointments functionality • Existing route based approach retired • Appointment availability will be based on capacity (resources) to deliver – more flexible • No restriction on particular days if capacity is available i.e. increase in available appointment days and more choice for customers • e.g. appointments in Tullamore town possible on any day of the week, availability matched to actual capacity, appointments will influence work schedules 9

February March April May Support Cutover Dress Rehearsal one Cutover Dress Rehearsal two Release non SAP-ISU applications Release SAP-ISU changes OSS Cutover - outline plan • Changes to SAP IS-U to be released Easter weekend 21st-25th April. • SAP IS-U will be isolated at the Integration HUB and Extranet blocked from c. close of business Thursday 21st April to Monday 25th April. • Normal system release limitation will apply i.e. notification of key stakeholders, system isolation, queue of market messages etc. 17

Suggested Next steps • ESB Networks will offer to meet each Supplier during April’11 to discuss related processes • Job aid on Extranet Appointments will issue • More detail on Cutover Plan to be presented to the IGG planned for 6th April’11 • Any questions or clarifications to be routed through RMDS 19

Summary of new Appointments functionality • More flexible – any day appointments can be offered • Higher volume of appointments on offer - limited by actual available capacity only • Dynamic in-day management of daily work schedules will better enable accommodation of urgent requests • System objectives set up to meet SLA and Appointment due date obligations • Some changes to the Extranet to fit the solution and enhance the search process 20
