Key Services • Song Sharing Mechanism • Share key song information (lyrics, artist, album) • Associate uploaded songs with songs of similar Artists/Genres/Types through social tagging • Music Player Visual Customization • Select from pre-designed music skins • Visually incorporate music player into homepage • Fully customizable skin designer for advanced users

What’s so special about Ted? • Technology Familiarity: • Basic knowledge of internet interactions • Uses some website services like MySpace, facebook, flickr, etc. • Has an iPod and is familiar with iTunes interface for uploading music from the computer to the portable player • Frequently rips MP3s from CDs • He’s the lead guitarist of the band “Ruby’s Pearl”

  7. Ted’s Key Motivations • Limited knowledge of Web Programming • Ted depends on his friend Joe to maintain the band’s website • Goal: Ted would like a more active role in customizing the appearance and the content available on his band’s website

Ted’s Objectives • Ted has uploaded two of his favorite songs • The songs currently have no annotations, and Ted would like to provide missing information such as the album name, the performing artists, key lyrics etc. • Ted would also like to provide his personal commentary about what is so special about the songs • Ted finally wants to share the songs he has uploaded with other songs having similar tags
