SME Credit Bureau • A collaborative effort between Dun & Bradstreet (Singapore) Pte Ltd and the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (ASME). • Launched on 21 Mar 2005 by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth & Sports and Second Minster for Trade & Industry. • Fully operational on 01 October 2005. SME Credit Bureau • It is an online repository of Companies’ information and credit track records. • Credit history is one indicator of a Company’s character in terms of meeting its debt obligations. • Inclusive are Company’s Registration details to help confirm application information and business validity. • Information is obtained from members of the bureau, public databases, other external databases, including litigation and winding up cases.
