Topics to cover • Document management • Project glossary • Complete terminology and abbreviation should be • Project introduction • Project’s field? • What is current situation? • Motivation / Reason for change • Project objectives • What are our objectives? • Why do we do it? • What constraints there are (budget, time, …)? • System decomposition – high level (Overview + description) • Major components / Areas • Interface overview (internal as well as external) • Definition of scope (in-scope/out-of-scope)

Discussion: • What are the objectives for writting a system concept? • Define project objectives • and support them with some reasons • Define project scope • Define project team (stakeholders) • Provide means for common (joint) understanding (Everybody from customer, through management to development) • Terminology • System decomposition • (Demonstrate your competence) • …
