Status of interest of other countries • Poland • Interest to join but could not make it for this meeting • Norway • Interest to join but could not make it for this meeting • Ireland • Air leakage testing is now mandatory but not always done because of a lack of control • But not always done and if so not necessarily in a proper manner • 5 or 6 busy doing tests regularly (1-2 a week), serious professionals that are trained • 20 not so busy (1-2 a month) • Influence standards at national or EU level rather than waiting as tests are mandatory • Maximum q50 of 10m3/h/m² to become 5m3/h/m² (for some kind of building) at the end of 2013 • Italy ? • Estonia • Small country 1.4 million • About 20 testing companies, 10 measure actively, no real communication between them (no association) • Testing is not mandatory, you can have credit for better airtightness provided that you prove it by a measurement • Default value is q50 of 6 m3/h/m² for detached houses, other buildings 3m3/h/m² • For major renovation the default value is 9 and 6m3/h/m²
