  6. Blackpool Alcohol Strategy 2013-16 Availability By 2016 Blackpool will be a safer, healthier, and enjoyable place to live, work and visit free of excess alcohol harm. Reduce alcohol related mortality and increase Blackpool’s average life expectancy Reduce alcohol related ill health Increase accessibility to treatment . Reduce frequent hospital readmission. Improve early identification. Immediate treatment to avoid A&E pressures. Reduce Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder incidence Make treatment available in more locations.
