  2. Who Am I? • Born February 06, 1972 to the PROUD parents David Emanuel Jr. and Louise. • I am the oldest of 4 sons. • Siblings are Daryle (36); Arlis (31); and David Emanuel III (23).

  3. The Emanuels! • My wife Lynn and I were married June 10, 2000. • We met on our part-time jobs during college. • We have two beautiful daughters: Destanee Shiann(6); Madilyn Shae (4) and a son: Delsin Larece.

  5. We attend Sycamore Hill Holiness church on HWY 71, Maxton. • My wife is a wonderful Pre-K teacher at R. B. Dean Elementary in Maxton. • Destanee will be a first-grader and Shae will be in Pre-K there this year. • Delsin will be attending Raggedy Ann and Andy Daycare Center where his sisters have already made a wake for him!

  6. Professional Background • I graduated from Purnell Swett in 1990. • From UNCP in 1995 with a B.A. in Social Studies Education. • From UNCP in 2007 with a M.A. in Social Studies Education. • I began the MSA program in the Spring of 2009. • I have been teaching at Purnell Swett since January of 1995.

  7. I currently teach Psychology, American Indian Studies, and Citizenship Education. • Other duties include: SGA Advisor, Student Activities Coordinator, and contact for Project Graduation.
