  1. Community Partnership for Children Restaurant Days What is it? The Community Partnership for Children (CPC) Restaurant Days is a month long effort to raise money and awareness for the CPC. Participating restaurants will donate 5% or more of one day’s sales in November 2012 to the CPC. • Why should my restaurant participate? • The children need your help: • 44% of newborns in Brown County go home to at-risk environments • 58% of children in Green Bay schools are receiving free or reduced lunches • 1,217 school aged children in Brown County experienced homelessness last year • The Community Partnership for Children – powered by Brown County United Way – is working with many partners in Brown County to help ensure that all children are “Safe, Healthy, and Ready to Learn”. • What do you need from me? • A signed commitment form agreeing to contribute 5% or more of one day’s sales in November 2012 • Your logo to be used in promotion of the event • What do I receive in return? • Advertising value for your restaurant with our media partners and supporters • Restaurant Days calendar coverage on media partner web sites, Brown County United Way web site and Facebook • A tax deduction for your contribution • A warm fuzzy feeling because your restaurant is helping children and families in your community • We’re in, now what? • Complete the attached commitment form • Send your logo to Kelly Ellis at Brown County United Way • Expect a letter of confirmation with information regarding your promotional materials and event date • Get your team fired up for the event!
