  2. The Introduction The Amazon is in South America. The length is approximately 6,280km long! The source is located in Calillona, Peru. The mouth is in North Eastern Brazil. The wild life has many animals like the piranha which is one of the worlds most scary fish. It can grow up to 60cm long, can kill cattle and even people. It can also strip flesh off in a couple of minutes! Its also home to a very frightening snake , the Anaconda.

  3. The Usage and Importance of the river The Amazon provides lots of water and is a good way of traveling when it comes to boats and other water transportation. There are lots of fish that is very good to eat. It helps tribes and cities in everyday life.

  4. Fascinating Facts The Amazon is the second longest river in the entire world – but the Nile is longer. The Amazon collects water from just 40 of land mass. The biggest city along the Amazon is Manaus in Brazil and holds over 1.7 million people. It has 20 of the worlds water. This is Manaus.

  5. The villages of The Amazon This is the village Belan which floats upon The Amazon. This is one of the many villages . There are thousands of villages and tribes along the Amazon , there are so many so some haven't even got names!
