  2. There are plenty of fun outdoor games for kids, and some of them can be equally enjoyed by adults as well. Not only these games are highly immersive and bring a lot of joy and excitement in children, there are several added benefits to conducting outdoor games. Letting the kids play outdoors make sure that they get enough exercise for a proper muscle development in children. It is also important for children as it helps develop social skills. Here are some fun outdoor games for kids that are highly popular among children of all ages, some being classic and others being more recently introduced.

  3. Potato SackRace: This is a classis outdoor game that was introduced back in the 19th century. Also, popularly known as “gunny race”, the game become a primary attraction at most carnivals. “Classic never dies”, and so is true for the game of potato sack race. The minimum number of participants required for this game is just two players, and the maximum is up to you. It is similar to regular race, just that, in this game you need to stand inside a potato sack till your waist up, and hop your way to the finish line.

  4. Balloon Volleyball: All of us are well familiar with Volleyball. But this game may not be suitable for kids as the ball can be heavy and the game could be quite chaotic. But with balloon volleyball, the real volleyball is replaced with a balloon, and instead of using hands to pass the ball around, the kids simply lay back and must use their legs to kick the ball back and forth, without letting the balloon touch the ground

  5. Boochie: Boochie is a fun game that can be considered a combination of various ball games. It is an action-packed game providing fun for both children and adults alike.   6. Hide and Seek: This is one of the most popular and classic outdoor game and it requires no investment. All you need is a large enough space with lots of hiding places. It is a great game to be played during day outs in the park, or in the backyard. It can be very enjoyable and children simply love this game. The game is also known popularly as “I Spy!” The rules are simple. One player must cover their eyes and count upto a decided number. Before the count is finished the rest of the players much find a hiding place. The first player, after counting the numbers, must then go and seek the other players. These games are great for birthday parties, kids party, day out/picnic or any celebration. Other fun party ideas include glow in the dark party, swingball, lawn scrabble, donkey piñata, and red light, green light.
