One of the most striking buildings on the island is the Ibiza Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Snows. This Gothic-style church was built in the 13th century and features a stunning bell tower and intricate stone carvings. Another notable religious building on the island is the Sant Antoni de Portmany Church, which dates back to the 14th century and boasts a beautiful Baroque facade. In addition to its religious buildings, Ibiza is home to a number of historic fortresses and castles. One of the most impressive is the Dalt Vila fortress, which was built in the 16th century to protect the island from pirate attacks.
