Information Literacy Curriculum • Based upon national Association of College & Research Libraries standards • Objective is to produce effective, thoughtful, scholarly users of information sources • Focus is upon analytical, evaluative, and decision-making skills • Sequential Building Blocks in each skill area

Information Literacy – Upcoming Developments • Increased options for including Information Literacy into subject area curriculums • New content for Research Collection Guides & Tutorials • Expansion of Bb Librarian involvement • Foundational connection with Gen Ed/Foundations of Knowledge skills • Larger database of course instructor resources • New types of Collaboration with course instructors • Development of new audiences via closer connections with other two educational programs at Steely
