  2. .. Color blindness ..

  3. Color blindness is the reduced ability to distinguish between certain colors. People who are color blind are not blind – they can see very clearly, but they cannot see some colors the way other people see them.

  4. What is the Causes? Color blindness is either inherited (you are born with it) or it is acquired as a result of a disease, treatment, exposure to chemicals or an injury.

  5. kinds of people who affected by color blindness: • Some people may be unable to see the colors green and red – this is the most common type of color blindness. They might see red as orange and green as white.

  6. Some people may have cones missing which cause them to be unable to see blue and yellow.

  7. A few people are unable to see any colors at all. They see the world as if it were an old black and white movie.

  8. How many people affected by colour blindness? statistics says Most of the people with colour blindness are male – about 1 boy in 10 will be colour blind, while only about 1 girl in 200 will be colour blind.

  9. What kids say ? • My dad is red/green colour blind. People ask really dumb questions like, ”How do you know what colour the traffic lights are on?” ….as if everyone doesn't know that red is the top light and green is the bottom!”  Dan . • "It took me ages to learn my colors because I couldn’t tell which was blue and which was yellow. My mum wrote the names on my pencils. When the teacher asked us to draw something in blue I could read the pencil." Michael .

  10. Conclusion : Being colour blind is not having a disease and it is not something that makes a person less clever than someone else . People who are color-blind can do normal stuff as healthy people . So, don’t feel embarrassed to say that “ I’m colors blind” .
