As a result, finding Chinese students’ perceptions of a good native teacher is becoming increasing important. • For this problem, there is a research about Tsinghua students’ perceptions of a good native English speaker teaching English in China among nine Tsinghua students from different areas in China by the mean of a questionnaire. • The more we know about percepted characteristics, the more likely we are to develop language teacher preperation models that incorporate aspects of relevant language teaching as well as help in establishing standards for evaluating language instruction.(Hezi Brosh Tel Aviv University, Perceived characteristics of the effective language teacher, “Forgeign Language Annal ,29 No.2,1996”)
