  2. Methods • Echocardiogram and cIMT measurement by carotid ultrasound were performed in • 100 HIV-infected adolescents receiving stable ART for at least 6 months, and without apparent cardiovascular condition • 50 Healthy adolescent controls • A blood drawn for lipid, hs-CRP, CD4, VL

  3. Results • Conclusions • HIV-infected had higher rate of hypertriglyceride level and hypoHDL • No difference in cIMT among HIV-infected adolescents and healthy adolescent controls • Among HIV-infected adolescents, receiving PI treatment > 6 months was associated with increased overall cIMT
