  1. Perry Equipment Corporation Texonics Proposal for Production Line Redesign and Retrofit

  2. System Overview Texonics will provide a complete Turnkey System replacing the current production machine. The system will include a completely new welded steel structure The system will include new actuators, gear boxes, motors, servo drives, and a servo driven roller on the variable speed conveyors The system will include structural guarding with bolted connections

  3. System Overview The system will incorporate the current conveyors owned by Perry Equipment using new conveyor belts Perry will provide rollers Texonics will provide installation support and system startup Anticipated system changeover time is 5 – 7 working days Lead Time required to begin system installation is 8 – 10 weeks

  4. Overview of System Components Structure Actuators Gearboxes Servomotors Servo Drives Servo Driven Conveyors Safety Guarding Customer supplied components

  5. Structure Size of Tube Level compensating feet Anchors Ability to be moved Bearings used in table construction

  6. Tubing Selection 4” X 8” X ¼” Steel Rectangle Tubing Center section consists of 2 tubes stitched All connections will use Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)

  7. Level Compensating Feet 6 feet on the machine ± 15° misalignment off of vertical 1.25” thread for mounting 4” adjustability

  8. Anchors Stud style Pin type anchors 5/8” diameter anchors Bolt to adjustable member 2 concrete anchors per leg 4 bolts in each leg to anchor

  9. Bearings Flanged bearings for all rollers Grease fittings 1.75” shaft diameter Double–Sealed bearing General Purpose for low lead-time

  10. Actuators Cutaway of carriage Roller Bearing construction Belt life Cutaway view T-slot Mounting Method of Installation

  11. Profile Carriage Tensioning Station Drive Station Timing Belt Belt Attachment Load Plate Cutaway of Carriage

  12. Roller Bearing Construction Carriage has 12 Rollers Carriage plate is able to be rebuilt Carriage is adjusted by 6 eccentrics

  13. Cutaway View

  14. T-Slot Mounting

  15. Method of Installation Slide in installation Ease of maintenance Mounting bolts located exterior of machine

  16. Gearbox Apex Dynamics Planetary Gearbox Backlash < 8 Arcmin High efficiency >97% 5yr warranty

  17. Planetary Gearbox • Solid, uncaged needle roller bearings • Plasma nitriding • HeliTopo Technology • Crowns the lead of each tooth • Maximum tooth surface contact • One piece carrier • Gears supported on both sides

  18. Servo Motors Parker Compumotor Servomotors High Torque density Brushless Construction High Performance Neodynium Magnets Parker’s “Smart Encoder”

  19. Servo Drives Parker Compumotor Aries Drives Plug in and Spin Feature Motor parameters load to drive Basic tuning parameters load to drive

  20. Servo Driven Conveyor Parker Compumotor Servo mounted external to conveyor Ease of Maintenance High Acceleration S curve Accel - Decel rates Precise control of speed Timing belt

  21. Conveyor Drive

  22. Safety Guarding Parker Integrated Profile System (IPS) Attached to Machine Structure Front and side of machine Easy access via hinged doors Doors are bolted shut Lift off hinges Plexiglas vs. IPS Cage

  23. Easy Access

  24. Plexiglas vs. IPS Cage Plexiglas IPS Solid barrier Less labor intensive to install 100% isolation to debris Air flow thru the Machine Keeps fingers out Rigid

  25. Customer supplied components Rollers Conveyor Belts Moving conveyors

  26. System Proposal Complete System redesign and installation is $142,900 The cost would be broken down into three phases 33% due at the time of the purchase order 33% due at the approval of drawings and documentation 34 % due 30 days after installation and Perry Equipment signoff

  27. Thank you for your attention We look forward to working with youTo improve your bottom line
