  1. Toby, the alien, had finally landed on Earth. However, as he stepped off of his spaceship, he got a big surprise. There was two of him! Ahh! There is two of me!! A strange being approached Toby and he was scared. The creature explained that the copy of Toby was called a shadow and that it is caused by a light source called the Sun. Toby’s home planet was completely dark, so the Sun was a new concept to him. Don’t worry, it is just your shadow! The strange being warned Toby that his shadow would move clockwise throughout the day and be its shortest at noon. Toby thanked the being for all of his help, and set out for his exploration of Earth!
