  3. Facts and figures 2 • The size of Trinidad is 5,128 km 2. • Trinidad is more than three times the size of Shetland. • The population of Trinidad is 1,116,595. • This is more than 50x the population of Shetland.

  4. food • There are some unusual foods in Trinidad Like shark, crab and dumpling roti.

  5. Capital city • The capital city in Trinidad is port of Spain.

  6. flag • The flag is red and has three diagonal lines one thick and black and two thin ones at the sides.

  7. Festivals • Kartik is one of the largest Hindu festivals celebrated in Trinidad.
