  7. Bluetooth is a proprietary open wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances (using short-wavelength radio transmissions in the ISM band from 2400–2480 MHz) from fixed and mobile devices. BACK

  8. Universal Serial Bus (USB) is an industry standard developed in the mid-1990s that defines the cables, connectors and communications protocol used in a bus for connection, communication and power supply between computers and electronic devices. BACK

  9. Aprinter is a peripheral which produces a text or graphics of documents stored in electronicform, usually on physical print media such as paper or transparencies. BACK

  10. TheCompact Disc, or CD for short, is an optical disk used to store digital data. It was originally developed to store and play back sound recordings only, but the format was later adapted for storage of data (CD-ROM), write-once audio and data storage (CD-R), rewritable media (CD-RW), Video Compact Discs (VCD), Super Video Compact Discs (SVCD), PhotoCD, PictureCD, CD-i, and Enhanced CD. BACK

  11. A floppy disk, or diskette, is a diskstorage medium composed of a disk of thin and flexible magnetic storage medium, sealed in a rectangular plastic carrier lined with fabric that removes dust particles. They are read and written by a floppy disk drive (FDD). BACK

  12. The Central processing unit (CPU, occasionally central processor unitis the hardware within a computer system which carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetical, logical, and input/output operations of the system. BACK

  13. A USB flash drive is a data storage device that includes flash memory with an integrated Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface. USB flash drives are typically removable and rewritable, and physically much smaller than a floppy disk. Most weigh less than 30 g. BACK

  14. A Computer fanis any fan inside, or attached to, a computer case used for active cooling, and may refer to fans that draw cooler air into the case from the outside, expel warm air from inside, or move air across a heat sink to cool a particular component. BACK

  15. A Motherboard(sometimes alternatively known as the mainboard, system board, planar board or logic board ) is a printed circuit board (PCB) found in many modern computers which holds many of the crucial components of the system, such as the central processing unit(CPU) and memory, and provides connectors for other peripherals. BACK

  16. A hard disk drive (HDD; also hard drive, hard disk, or disk drive) is a device for storing and retrieving digital information, primarily computer data. It consists of one or more rigid (hence "hard") rapidly rotating discs (platters) coated with magnetic material, and with magnetic heads arranged to write data to the surfaces and read it from them.
