  1. Know About Giora Tal The theater and musical producer, Giora Tal, was born in 1921 into a Polish-Russian show business family. Upon his discharge from the Polish army, Giora made aliyah in April 1948 and joined the Israeli Defense Forces until he left it seven years later as a major. This turn of events allowed Giora to pursue his lifelong dream and opened a talents management agency in a small room on Shenkin street in Tel Aviv.

  3. Giora Tal Lifestyle The first professional success came when Giora ventured into bringing international stars to perform in Israel. Giora was the man behind showcasing in Israel top talents as Frank Sinatra, Cliff Richards, Marlene Dietrich and Harry Belafonte. In 1961 Giora Tal first hit was and American-Israeli co-production of "West Side Story" in cooperation with the Israeli national theater, Habima.

  5. Giora Tal Music Following his success, Giora Tal moved on to establish the Giora Tal Theater. An avid fan of musicals, Giora invested heavily in a local production of "My Fair Lady", starring RivkaRaz. Later on came the musical "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying" at the then record costs of half a million Israeli Liras. Unfortunately, the show struggled to acquire audience and went off the stage after merely 70 rounds. However, Giora wasn’t cured from the musical bug and hired Alhambra Cinema and went on producing many musicals such as "The King and I", "The Man of Lamancha" and his greatest hit "Casablan" that ran 606 times
