EWC OBJECTIVES • To improve working conditions pragmatically throughout Europe by interacting constructively with management • To innovate and enhance social dialogue • To work harmoniously with all European countries while respecting and understanding the differences • To interact constructively with national unions through the EMF whenever necessary

SELECT COMMITTEE 7 members • France3 members Bruno Blanchon D Chevalier • Germany2 members Heidi Heinlein F Hoinkis • Belgium1 member Jozef Willekens • UK1 member Mick Holmes Purpose: Deal with day to day issues Meet with Areva management whenever need arises • Number of meetings:6 to 8 annually of which 4 with corporate management

EWC ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Conclusion of European framework agreement “Equality in the workplace” • Successfully applied for European Funding for the project ODEO with AREVA management and the EMF • Regular visits of subsidiaries to assess the working conditions on site and facilitate, if necessary. • Visit of Niger with report and photo exhibition • Good working relationship within the council. Complicity among members.
