Toy Making

Toy Making. By Matthew Bogdan. Toy Mania. se. The D cube will float becase its density is lower than then 1 g/ml, it’s density is 0.576. the material is made of poplar but it feels like metal. I know it floats because it has a density below 1g/ mL and poplar is 0.576.

  4. The way we figured out what object floats and which object sinks is first we did the mass for all of the cubes. The way we did that is first we get our cube then we get the scale out after that you put your scale on a flat surface and turn it on. After you did that make sure that your scale is on grams and then put your cube on the scale and whatever number is on the scale is your answer to the mass. After I did that I did the volume the way you do that is you get a ruler out and measure the length, width, and height. And the way we got the density is we got a calculator out and did length x width x height and got that. After I did that I did mass/ Volume and got my answer. I got D cube by getting every cubes density and the D cube was the only one with a lower density then 1. Procedure
