The teacher decided on this field trip as the boys had shown a huge interest in a recent film/ book about boats and one of your parents had a boat yard. قررت المعلمة الذهاب في هذه الرحلة بعد أن أظهر الأولاد اهتمام شديد بفيلم / كتاب عن الزوارق، وكان لأحد والديك مرسا به زورق. The teacher saw a great learning opportunity for students: • To have an authentic learning opportunity • To offer a variety of learning experiences • To involve families and community in learning etc فوجدت المعلمة فرصة تعلمية كبيرة للطلاب: • أن تكون لديهم فرصة حقيقية للتعلم • أن تقدم لهم خبرات تعلمية متعددة • أن تشرك الأسر والمجتمع في التعلم ..إلخ

5. Contd.تابع The teacher matched standard statements 2.1, 5.1 , and 11.1 etc. in the unit plan. قامت المعلمة بمطابقة المعايير رقم 1.2و 1.5 و1.11 في خطة الوحدة. The teacher had to write an annotation /reflection on how these standards have been met. Handout 2.1 • كان على المعلمة أن تكتب شرحا/ تأملا عن الكيفية التي تمت بها تلبية تلك المعايير. الورقة الموزعة رقم 1.2

6. Firstly lets look at a useful writing skill :Use words of the standard statements and indicators for your writing. (T.12 Reflect on, evaluate and improve professional practice).أولا دعونا نبحث عن مهارة مفيدة في الكتابة:استخدموا الكلمات المكتوب بها نص المعايير والمؤشرات في كتاباتكم. (ت 12 التأمل في الممارسة المهنية وتقييمها وتحسينها). • Use the words of a standard statement or indicator when making links. For example: 2.1 Learning experiences are planned that provide opportunities for students to explore and develop knowledge and skills through cooperative and group activities. • استخدم كلمات نص المعيار أو المؤشر عند الربط، على سبيل المثال: 2.1 • تم التخطيط للخبرات التعلمية بحيث تمنح الطلاب فرصا لاكتشاف وتطوير المعرفة والمهارات من خلال أنشطة جماعية وتعاونية.

7. Contd.تابع • Students response to the marina field trip indicated a high interest amongst students in boats and boat building. Thus in this measurement unit one of the activities includes a scale drawing of a model boat and a visit to the a boat building /design firm. • إن تجاوب الطلاب مع الرحلة إلى الميناء البحري بينت أن هناك إهتمام كبير بالزوارق وبنائها بين الطلاب، لذلك في وحدة القياس الحالية، ستشتمل إحدى الأنشطة على رسم نموذج لزورق بقياس رسم معين بالإضافة إلى زيارة إلى شركة تعمل في تصميم وبناء المراكب.

Task: Write how the teacher has demonstrated that they have met the standard 2.1. المهمة: أكتب كيف وضحت المعلمة أنهم قاموا بتلبية المعيار 2.1.
