  3. GVHS Archives Collection Records of the GVHS - and its predecessor, the Historical Society of the Gatineau. The P.M.O. Evans Collection - Manuscripts and news clippings on local people and events, including birth, marriage, and death notices. Accessions - Collection on prominent pioneer families and local institutions. Maps, Charts and Plans - Small collection includes papers dating back to 1870s and beyond. Image Bank - a digital image collection. Photos and clippings Microfilmed Records - Local census and church records of birth, marriages and burials, and a microfilm reader, are available to aid in genealogical research. Cemetary Recordings - Included are the listings of the main burial grounds in Cantley, Chelsea, Lascelles. Low, and Wakefield. Reference Library - English and French books and tapes of the Gatineau Valley and Outaouais region. Includes some genealogies.

Intended users: GVHS Members – Communication, coming events, volunteer opportunities, etc. Local Researchers -   Archival and published resources, inquiries, reproductions,  user-contributions General Public – Awareness about the GVHS and Gatineau Valley heritage. Publications and reproduction sales
