SUMMARY • Wellness sector has been gathering importance since few years now. • Wellness industry report as submitted by PWC stated that it is a 7 billion Rs industry. • This sector recently started a Council akin to HSSC(Healthcare Skill Sector Council). • VLCC is taking measures to train the wellness professionals and is making a conscious effort to motivate the young crowd to take up these courses not as a compulsion but with interest. • He concluded by saying consumer is now realizing it is better to invest in preventive Healthcare for long term benefits.
