  1. Project info • RF system • Cavity shipped to FNAL • Tube availability is still an issue – TH116 & TH170 • Power supplies not cheap in one off procurements • Cryo procurement • Independent consultant’s view of tender bid was expensive but to go ahead • Discussion with Linde on Monday 22nd • Target test • Plans for December/January; tight schedule for the target • Beam Line • collimation; better positions for upstream TOF etc; better rates; • DAQ & Controls meeting • Expect ~ 10-15 people • Civil work • Started discussions – no apparent schedule problems • Management • CMPB – brings MICE & Host lab together • 2 meetings so far • Ken Peach (  Adams Institute) now replaced in interim by Norman McCubbin • John Womersley from 1st October • Funding agency committee • informed by & advises CMPB on matters of (e.g.) contingency planning • First meeting mid October – Chair: Richard Wade PPARC, no membership details yet public • OSC – satisfies PPARC’s desire for oversight • 1st meeting 19th September • Chair of OSC is John Dowell (B/ham). Other members are: • Ian Robson (UK Astronomy Technology Centre) • Derek Lowenstein (BNL) • Kai Zuber (Sussex) • Dieter Trines (DESY) • Shoji Nagamiya (JPARC) • Lindsay Marcer (PPARC) • Collaboration meeting • 22nd to 24th October Sat to Monday inclusive; 13 people registered • rooms released 1 month prior to meeting
