  3. ELAH reflection • Presentation skills • Learned how to interest classmates in reading the book and sharing the culture • Read the book • Met the author and spoke with him • Listened to author talk about his book • It was cool because I got to hear a different story from another world

  4. MATH evidence • String art project • Geometric shapes and equations • Individual project, PR project • Final product-the actual board with string, construction based on math instructions.

DC reflection • Presentation skills, writing skills, research skills, editing and citation skills, creativity, technology skills. • I didn’t feel comfortable with presentation skills for my projects but it helped me not become nervous • Research skills improved • Process- picking a site, note taking, writing a paper, editing and finalizing using information to create a brochure and presentation

  9. Science reflection • Construction skills, visualizing skills • Taught me about friction having a slope track led to less friction and more movement • Process: analyze designs and choose one of your own and create it, test it, got grade • Taught me to manage time and work
