  4. COMPONENTS Under each Construct are 1-3 components. There are 10 total Components. The components are similar to the areas in our former instrument.

  5. ONE OF 3 PATHS • NEW TEACHERS-Teachers in first or second consecutive year in a district-twice each year. • EXPERIENCED TEACHERS-Teachers in years 3 and 4 in a district-once each year; beyond 4 years, at least once every three years. • EXPERIENCED TEACHERS- • Professional Inquiry

  6. ONE MORE ADDED COMPONENT • STUDENT GROWTH • As part of the ESEA Waiver, we must include student growth evidence in our evaluative process • This is defined as • Impact on student learning • Measuring the improvement of student’s skills and knowledge

  7. POTENTIAL SOURCES OF EVIDENCE Observations Student work samples Lesson Plans Team meeting minutes Perception surveys Student behavior data-referrals, tardies, etc. Goal achievement The list can be expanded by you as the teacher

  9. REPOSITORY This is like a portfolio of evidence. There will be a default list of multiple measure you will be able to choose from as evidence of student growth. We will register you on the repository, a safe, secure site only to be viewed by the evaluatee, the evaluator and the superintendent.
