Spring 2011 Registration. Wednesday, October 27 th 12:30pm ALL first years register at the same time. Spring 2011 Tracks. You do not have to register for the same track you are currently in Remember, you register for a track using a track code, not the individual classes.

  1. Spring 2011 Registration Wednesday, October 27th 12:30pm ALL first years register at the same time

  2. Spring 2011 Tracks • You do not have to register for the same track you are currently in • Remember, you register for a track using a track code, not the individual classes

  3. Core Class Requirements • BUSI 611: Managerial Accounting • BUSI 634: Operations Management • BUSI 660: Entrepreneurship and New Ventures • BUSI 683: Global Economic Environment • BUSI 690: Strategic Management Total: 10 credits

  4. Technology Selective • You are required to take the Technology Selective in spring • Selective Options: • BUSI 621: Strategic and Transformational IT • BUSI 622: Managing Digital Business Markets • Priority Seating • Off-Site campus sections: November 11th at 12:30pm

  5. Corporate Social Responsibility Selective • You may take the Corporate Social Responsibility Selective this spring or next year • Electives that will fulfill the CSR requirement: • BUSI 758I Business Ethics in a Global Context • BUSI 758K Capitalism: How It Works • BULM 758F Economics of Sustainable Development

  6. Classes in Testudo • How do I know when and where a class if offered and who is teaching it? How many credits? Is the class open? Testudo

  7. Electives • Testudo>Schedule of Classes>Spring 2010 BUAC Accounting and Information AssuranceBUDT Decision and Information TechnologiesBUFN FinanceBULM Logistics, Business, and Public PolicyBUMK MarketingBUMO Management and OrganizationBUSI MBA Core and Cross-Functional (this is where the Selectives can be found)

  8. Registering • Check for blocks in advance (through myUM) • Testudo > Office of the Registrar > Registration (drop/add)>Spring 2011 > Click “accept” • Be sure to change the drop down menu to say Spring 2011 • Add your track/other classes

  9. Wait list • You cannot be registered for one section of a class or track and be on the wait list for another • Add yourself to a wait list as soon as possible • Wait list check-in does not have to be done until the class starts • If you remove yourself from a wait list, we cannot put you back on in your place • Wait list movement will occur 2-3 weeks before the semester starts

  10. Plan Wisely! • Make sure you know where you will go to register at 12:30pm • Check your appointment and make sure you do not have any blocks • Have multiple plans of classes you might take • Course Evals in the MPO • If you have a question, ask Caroline • Do not wait until the last minute!
