  • Push media is the type we watch or listen to as it is “pushed” or delivered to us – examples: lectures, powerpoint presentations.
  • Pull Media is information we pull for ourselves – examples: internet searches, and this course!
  • Allow work to be done at home, schools or the library.
  • Have opened up a new world of information retrieval right at the fingertips.
  • Help with student and teacher presentations
  • Aid in public speaking
  • Time saving! Can be used over & over again
  • Enhance the way students learn
