Overview • Quick review of previous talk • What we’ve done since, including data • What could be done to develop and improve method
White Noise Setup HP 3562A Dynamic Signal Analyzer eBay is great! Random Noise Transmit Op Amp Receive
Cross Spectrum ofGibson J-45 w/ Receive below Transmit 145 Hz 90 Hz 368 Hz 208 Hz
DAQ data of Vtotl vs. Freq w/ receive below transmit 140 185 90 211 363 427
Limitations! • Piezo transducers are 3.7 cm in diameter…too big! • Suspending guitar can be tricky…does not hang the same way twice • Time constraints
Developments • Calibration of piezo transducers- correlating voltage with space to develop plots w/ space dimensions as z-axis • Map out using more points with smaller transducers • Understand better the DAQ graphs • Laser Holography?
