  7. Endure – to carry through despite difficulty Cowboys endure a lot of manure.

  8. Harrowing – disturbing, frightening Meeting a shark was a harrowing experience for the hare rowing.

  9. Aptitude – capacity for learning, natural ability Birds have an aptitude for altitude.

  10. Laconic – brief, using few words Grandma was laconic when it came time for the puppy to take the tonic.
