  2. expression – putting something into words; a way of saying something; the look on a person’s face

  3. feature – a characteristic; a special attraction; a magazine or newspaper column that appears regularly

  4. illustration – a picture in a book or other text used to represent the meaning of the story

  5. imagine – to form a mental image of something that is not actually present to your senses

  6. impression – a strong effect produced on your intellect, feelings, or conscience

  7. influence – the power of a person or thing to be a compelling force on the actions, behavior or opinions of others.

  8. literary type – a class or category of writing that has a certain form, content or technique; genre

  9. mental picture – visualize; see an image in one’s mind.

  10. method – a procedure, technique, or way of doing something

  11. conventionally – conforming to accepted standards; ordinary rather than different or original
