Ghassan Halazon was born on 3rd July 1984 in Toronto, Canada. He obtained his undergraduate degree with double concentration in finance and entrepreneurship in the year of 2006 and then went to Georgetown (Washington D.C) to gain his MBA. He started his career as an investment banking associate in CITI group but did not continue long there, as the job was not charming and motivating. Ghassan Halazon later joined in TeamBuy, the first daily deal site in Canada, as a CEO in 2009.Since its beginning TeamBuy has over 3 million members, who had reportedly saved $1 billion by featuring deals from various local and national merchants.Ghassan Halazon heads both TeamBuy.ca and Dealfind.com (a sister concern) together, Canada's major online deals group, and one of the biggest e-commerce companies in the state.Team Buy’s business model was primarily based on group buying and one deal a day.
