  2. Description • Sea lions are eared seals with a thick furry neck that looks like a lion’s mane. • Sea lions are found all around the world, and they are especially plentiful in seas near both the North and South pole.

  3. What sea lions eat • Sea lions eat mostly fish, some also eat squid, and shellfish. • The leopard sea lion of the Antarctica feeds on penguins and other seals.

  4. Where sea lions live • A group of sea lions in the water is called a raft. • Male sea lions don’t eat during the breeding season. • Sea lions care more about protecting their territory and making sure their females don’t run off with another male.
