  2. Tip #1 Know The Application Requirements • Before you submit a resume or application for a job take the time to do a little research. Find out what the employer is looking for. Each field is different and will have different requirements. You need to make sure you meet those requirements.

  3. Tip #2 Have Someone Review Your Application Materials • Never submit any application materials without first having someone review it. If you are still in school speak with one of your professors to see if they will review it for you. Most of them will gladly do so. 

  4. Tip #3 Practice! • Yes, you can actually practice for an interview. Sit down and think of some of the questions they might ask. You can even get online and look up common interview questions for your field. Practice on your responses to those questions. Remember, this is your chance to make a good impression on the employer.
