  2. The purpose of the program is to make it as convenient as possible to: • Test your water • Understand results • Learn how to address issues (if any)

  3. Why Continue to Test Your Drinking Water? • Public wells are regulated, but private well owners are responsible for testing and treating their drinking water. • Water can look, smell and taste fine, but it may still be contaminated.

  4. Where can I get my water tested? The “homeowner package” drinking water testing bottles are always available at the Sauk County UW-Extension Office.
